In 2010, the first Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus (ScienceCampus) was established in Tübingen, laying the foundation for institutionalized cooperation between German universities and non-university institutes from the Leibniz Society. After seven years of research on the topic of Informational Environment, the Leibniz ScienceCampus Tübingen (WCT) focused its research on the topic of Cognitive Interfaces in 2017.
Now, after ten successful years, this research era is coming to an end. We celebrate this event with a symposium and ceremony! What was planned as an on-site event with all members, cooperation partners, sponsors and friends of the WCT at the IWM in Tübingen will now take place online due to the Corona situation.

About 60 scientists are involved in 16 interdisciplinary research projects on cognitive interfaces. The focus is on the question: How can we design the interface between humans and computers in order to promote knowledge-intensive processes such as learning, decision-making, and problem-solving?
We celebrate the completion of these research activities with an online symposium. The 16 projects on Cognitive Interfaces introduce their work, supplemented by an overview presentation as well a Keynote Talk from Kristian Kiili (University of Tampere).
