The Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen is a cooperation network between the Leibniz-Institute für Wissensmedien and the University of Tübingen. The board of directors of the WCT consists of the Director of the IWM and the President of the University. Scientists from both institutions cooperate closely in all research projects.

A Leibniz Science Campus is a strategic instrument of the Leibniz Association to establish regional and interdisciplinary cooperation between a university and a Leibniz institute. The Leibniz-Science Campus was the first implementation of this initiative in Germany.
